ILOCOS ADVENTURE Day 1

Travelling is not much of a luxury but is fun in itself and rewarding!

For those with limited leave credits and not fond of travelling for 10 hrs. or so.. better watch out for airlines' promo fares to and from Laoag.

For accommodations, it must be arranged beforehand, if you are in for a pocket-friendly tour, do not look for hotels since the very reason you were there is for its views outside, so basically, it is just a sleeping quarter.

ILOCOS TOUR

DAY 1-Saturday

Past 12 nn- Arrival @ Laoag Airport

Jeepney ride to Balay da Blas Pensionne with good accommodation, fully a/c rooms, with cable tv and free wifi for Php 5,000 good for 8 pax (P625 each)

2:30pm- Tricycle ride to market (Laoag town proper) for P8 each we were on hunger hike since we haven't had lunch and walking under the scorching heat of the sun, we were supposed to settle in a fastfood chain but a local directed us to their foodcourt a few blocks away.. @"Dap-ayan" on our way there, we passed by:

• Sinking Bell Tower
• Tobacco Monument;and
• Ilocos Norte Capitol

We tasted their

• Empanada Specialty; and P60
• Bagnetsilog P70

We also had 1.5 softdrinksx2 P60/8 (P7.50)

4:00pm- While waiting for Leano Van to pick us up for our La Paz Sand Dunes Adventure, we had photoshoot@ Ilocos Capitol.

4:30pm-Sand Dunes-bound trip

5:00-6:15pm- First batch (group of 4) for 4x4 ride while the others are bound to taste the sand as they board into its depth... 4x4 ride is Exhilarating! a roller coaster without a safety belt but just your bare hands holding unto the bars to save your life!

We witnessed the sunset..Desert view is splendid!

After 30 minutes, we caught back our spirits and landed on sands, time to board!

You can try it while sitting, standing or even lying down (but we didn't dare the last one).

4x4 and sandboarding package was P2,500/8 P312.50 each

6:30pm Back to sentro then dinner (we only had fruit shake) P50

bought some personal stuffs then back to pensionne house
